Work. Fun. Work and fun? This can’t be right…
Oh yes it can. The team here at The Marconi specializes in bringing fun to the offices. We’ve got a big fluffy dog roaming the office at all times, just in case one of us needs a game of fetch (wait a second) or long walk around Industrial Drive.
So what are some of the best corporate event ideas we’ve heard throughout our years as an event venue serving our corporate clients? Here is what the team at Marconi Automotive Museum came up with:
**Host a picnic/cookout/employee appreciation at The Marconi (the only shameless plug we’ll have in this entire post, promise!) We just can’t help it, muscle cars and parking lot cookouts go together like peanut butter and jelly.
**Rent a Duffy and cruise Newport Harbor before docking at one of the restaurants for lunch or dinner. For larger groups, rent a boat and cruise the afternoon away.
**Take me out to the ballpark! Why not a company event at a Dodger game if you’re closer to L.A. or an Angel game if you’re located in Orange County? And to piggyback this idea, why not a hockey game?
**Winery tour with a winemaking demonstration and lunch because hey, you’re at a vineyard and who wouldn’t want to eat cheese and drink wine with that kind of view?
**Spend a day volunteering at KidWorks or another local children’s charity. These organizations always appreciate the extra set of hands. Orangewood Foundation is also constantly in need of team’s to help cook meals for the families they serve.
**Volunteer as a team at a soup kitchen or food pantry for the day with your team.
**Take your team to an Escape Room. We highly recommend Cross Roads Escape Games in Anaheim!
Just because the word corporate is in the sentence, doesn’t mean it has to be all suits and no fun. Have any other fun corporate event ideas? Leave them in the comment section for our readers.
