December 3rd is Happy National Roof Over Your Head Day! And because this is The Marconi Automotive Museum, it has plenty of roofs to check out.
So, to properly enjoy today’s holiday, let’s all take some time to gaze at a few beauties with magnificent roofs to flaunt and celebrate!
Up first is the 1967 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500.
Now, I must say, If I were going to be able to pick any kind of roof to have over my head, she’d be in my top 5 no doubt!
Next is the 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranelo.
It has 485 horsepower with a 5.5 liter, 48 valve v12, and 6-speed manual transmission. It goes from 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. It’s a nice roof to have over your head on National Roof Over Your Head day, no?
Thirdly, the 1971 Dodge Challenger RT.
Anyone feeling a wee-bit nostalgic?
Next, my personal favorite, the 1973 Plymouth Barracuda.
Don’t pretend you wouldn’t want this keeping your head dry while cruising down the coast.
And lastly, the 1929 Ford Model A.
It’s the roof you needed over your head before you realized you wanted a roof over your head!
In lieu of holiday spirit, snap a shot of your favorite roof and tag The Marconi to be added to today’s holiday post. Happy roofing!
