Our mission is to help raise awareness for the plight of at-risk children in our community

Dick Marconi founded the Marconi Foundation for Kids because he is a big advocate for children, especially “at-risk” children that don’t get the opportunities that many of our children do today.  With his vision in mind we continue to raise money for “at-risk” children’s organizations such as Olive Crest, Drug Use is Life Abuse, ChildHelp, Orangewood, Covenant House, and many many more.

The Foundation consists of many things. As a staff, we are diligent in visiting a variety of children’s charities here in Orange County.  It’s important to us to stay engaged with our mission – helping at-risk children in our local community. If our staff knows the plight of these children, then they are better able to pass along the information to those that visit and use our museum for special events, thus, everybody is motivated to do their part to make a better life for impoverished children and their families.  Leading the staff are Dick and Bo Marconi who never tire from getting the word out.  No one is ever surprised when Bo Marconi stops in to be an active part of a class room project at one of our charity partners.

The holiday season focuses on toy drives and delivering the various toys both large and small, to some of our local agencies. To see the delighted faces of children, and the relief from parents who are now able to provide for their children, is worth so much to each of us here at the Marconi Automotive Museum & Foundation for Kids.
