On the last week of August #TheMarconi housed the annual Caterina’s Club Fundraiser at The Marconi | OC Event Venue. The annual fundraiser benefiting “hotel kids” in Anaheim expected about 250 guests to show up for the gala. Instead, almost 500 guests came to support the organization. Hosting an event in Orange County’s most unique event venue is guaranteed to boost ticket sales for fundraisers and benefits. Red carpet treatment for the guests and a fashion show with live entertainment kept guests engaged and pumped to donate. White House Catering served a sit-down dinner and the night raiser almost $400,000 for its organization! Marconi Foundation for Kids sponsored a table at the gala to support the organization’s effort in feeding approximately 1,200 kids a day, fives days a week. The Orange County Register did a wonderful article on the night’s events and took some amazing shots of the museum decked out with a stage and catwalk. Check out the write-up here.

Caterina's Club Founder and Executive Director Chef Bruno Serato holds up a photo of his mother, Caterina, the namesake of the organization, during a fundraising gala at the Marconi Automotive Museum on Sunday. The organization was formed when Bruno and Caterina were visiting a Boys and Girls Club near their Anaheim restaurant, the Anaheim White House, and noticed kids eating potato chips for dinner since their families couldn't afford proper meals. Since then, they have served over one million pasta dinners to "motel kids" who might otherwise go to bed hungry. They currently feed over 1,200 kids in several Orange County cities five nights a week. ///ADDITIONAL INFO: tu.0901.lamborghini- 08/28/16 - PHOTO BY JEFF ANTENORE, CONTRIBUTING PHOTOGRAPHER Ð

Marconi staff also took a few behind the scenes images, too. And Instagram blew up as videos came flying in during the fashion show, as well as guests flocking to the museum’s vehicles to strike a pose.       caterinasclub-1 caterinasclub-1-2
