Fam Favorite Cars at The Marconi

by Abby Bogh

At this morning’s event, the client asked me what my favorite car was in the museum, which got me thinking…what are the Marconi Team’s favorite cars? What happened when I went around asking this question? Well, for starters, Vicki, Shannon, and Todd all chose the same car – but what fun is that? So, after a tiny bit of arguing 😉 Vicky claimed the GT350 and Shannon and Todd told me about their second favorite cars.  The rest of the fam had more original ideas! 😊

Vicki:

Marconi-0936 Our awesome administrative assistant loves the 1965 Ford Shelby GT350 because she likes muscle cars and “it’s loud!” Our GT350 is signed by Carrol Shelby himself in support of our mission to help kids.

Todd:

Todd, our operations manager, likes the 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello because he likes the way it drives.  “It’s a total cruiser,” he says.

Shannon:

Shannon’s (second) favorite car in the museum is the 1991 Ferrari F40.  Why, you ask? Well, “because it is faster than the F50!”

Bo:

When you ask Bo what her favorite car is in the museum, she replies, “Well, it depends on the day.”  The F40 is also a favorite for Bo when she wants energy and speed.  On a day when she wants peace, comfort, and luxury, the Bentley Azure is Bo’s favorite car in The Marconi.

Missy:

Marconi-0132

Missy loves the 1954 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing for its style and elegance.  She loves how finished it is inside and out, complete with classic luggage and all.  Of the car, Missy says it was “made so beautifully, even way back then.”

Victor:

Marconi-0897

Victor says the 1975 Ferrari 550 Maranello is his favorite car because it drives so nicely and smoothly.  His second favorite car (since Todd already picked the Maranello as his choice) is the 1995 Ferrari F50 because it is a race car and such a nice car.

Our summer intern’s favorite car in the museum is 1957 Cadillac Coupe DeVille because of its classic look.  Abby loves the elegance of this ’57 Cadillac and the use of matching the interior and exterior blues.
