On The Blog: Orange County Event Venue | The Marconi – Hosting a Bar Mitzvah
Planning any event can be difficult. Where do you start? Who do I call? If you’re in the Orange County area, I know the perfect place for you!
The event coordinators at the Marconi Automotive Museum & Foundation for Kids makes your event planning a one-stop shop! We have trusted vendors and an in-house caterer to knock the socks off your guests.
In this post, let’s showcase a few of the Bar/Bat Mitzvahs hosted at The Marconi over the last couple years. Here are a couple of different decor ideas to get your creative juices pumping!
Theme is an important factor when planning for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah and there is plenty of race car themes that would fit with our space.
- Fast & Furious
- Formula One Racing (BONUS: The Marconi has numerous F1 RaceCars in the museum)
- Drag Racing (DOUBLE BONUS: The Marconi has Kenny Bernstein’s Dragster hanging on the wall)
- Route 66 – old road signs with vintage decor
- Retro Diner
These are only a few examples!
Once your theme is locked down next is coordinating table linens, centerpieces and swagging (fabric hung from the ceiling). Again, DO NOT PANIC! Alli and Alison are experienced coordinators who can take your ideas and create an unforgettable event.
Plus, they know people who have linens (if you don’t like ours), swagging professionals and centerpieces (again, if you don’t like ours) and will help you navigate the wide world of fabrics.
Additional party rentals include:
- lounge furniture
- Red Carpet entrance
- VIP Grand Entrance into their party on a car of their choice (pending availability).
With nearly 20,000 square feet of contemporary space filled with a unique collection of high performance automobiles, including classic, rare, and one of a kind cars, we can accommodate your social event whether it is large or small.
