It was an intimate and cozy gathering…

A special note from Kevin Ryan,CEO & President of Covenant House International…

The storm has passed and now recovery begins. We’ll make it through – our kids are tough…and our staff determined!

We are facing difficulties as a community in Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York & New Jersey – power outages, flooding, transportation, cooped up residents, no phone service, damaged buildings – but your love and support helps pull us through.

Just yesterday, Strauss came to the shelter in NYC to help serve lunch. A friend sent a contractor to make temporary, emergency repairs to the Philadelphia roof. The actor Ben Stiller wired us money to help keep our temporary shelter at the Jersey shore operating for a few days, our new reality until we can return to Atlantic City. So much kindness!

We are looking for volunteers and/or donations to help us during this urgent time of need. We truly appreciate what everyone has done!

A very special thank you to Kevin Ryan, CEO and President of Covenant House International and Tina Kelley, former New York Times Reporter and Pulitzer Prize winner for sharing their hearts and passion for such a wonderful cause.

We truly enjoyed learning more about the story behind the inspiration of this book and how children lives are transformed by your organization!
