Fight Night 21 Raised $400,000 for CHOC Children’s & Marconi Foundation for Kids!
Marconi Foundation for Kids (MFK) hosted its 21st annual Fight Night fundraiser on March 15, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. This year, MFK split the net proceeds from the night with CHOC Children’s Hospital in support of its ambitious pediatric mental health initiative. Did you know one out of five children suffers from a mental health condition? That’s more than 150,000 children in Orange County alone.
“We are all touched by mental illness in one way or another and that’s why we want to be a part of the conversation de-stigmatizing mental health,” said Marconi Foundation for Kids CEO Bo Marconi.
Some of our sponsors included Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Winston’s Crown Jewelers, Niagara water, The Cyclist, and Porshe Irvine. We had approximately 400 guests attend this year with a number of hot ticket items up for auction including a trip to Royal Ascot 2019 (went for $9,000), Austin Grand Prix experience (went for $8,000), and a 10-week-old male Golden Retriever puppy (went for $22,000).
This year’s celebrity guest was Super Bowl Quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams, Jared Goff, was in attendance with many of Orange County’s finest business owners including: Scott Looney, President of Metro Commercial Reality Corp., Cameron Munson, President of Orange Aluminum, Rick Matros, CEO and President of board REIT Special Forces, Loreen Gilbert, CEO WealthWise financials, and more.
